What types of bags can you customize?
We customize paper bags (kraft and white, with twisted or flat handles), plastic shopping bags (HDPE and LDPE, various thicknesses), non-woven reusable bags, and specialty bags like food-grade takeout bags and merchandise bags. Each type has different printing methods, minimums, and price points — we'll recommend the right one for your business and budget.
What's the minimum order for custom bags?
Paper bags typically start at 2,500-5,000 units depending on size and print complexity. Plastic bags start at 5,000-10,000 units. Non-woven reusable bags can start lower — around 1,000-2,500 units. Quantities are per design, so if you want bags in multiple sizes with the same design, that's usually one print run. We'll find the best option for your volume and budget.
How many colors can I print on my bags?
Most paper bags are printed in 1-2 spot colors (your brand colors matched with Pantone). Full-color CMYK printing is available on some paper bag styles and on plastic bags. Single-color is the most affordable; additional colors increase cost incrementally. During your consultation we'll show you examples at different color counts so you can decide what works best for your brand and budget.
Do you design the bag layout, or do I provide artwork?
We design everything. You provide your logo and any brand guidelines, and we create the bag layout — positioning your logo, adding taglines or website URLs, and ensuring the design works with the bag's structure and handle placement. You approve the design before it goes to production. Design assistance is included in our packaging service.
How long does custom bag production take?
Design takes 1-2 weeks. Paper bag production usually takes 4-6 weeks, plastic bags 3-5 weeks, plus 1-3 weeks for shipping. Total timeline is typically 6-9 weeks from kickoff to delivery. Rush production is sometimes available for an additional fee — especially for plastic bags, which have faster turnaround. Let us know your deadline up front and we'll work backward from it.
Are your bags recyclable or eco-friendly?
Our paper bags are recyclable and biodegradable — kraft paper bags in particular are a popular choice for eco-conscious brands. We also offer recycled-content paper options from some manufacturers. Plastic bags are recyclable but require specific facilities. We can also source compostable and biodegradable bag materials for clients who prioritize sustainability — these typically have higher minimums and per-unit costs.
